On October 16, HARTU had the opportunity to be presented at the event titled “Robotic Technologies and Advanced Coatings for Aerospace Sector,” hosted at the Tekniker facilities. This event was organised in collaboration with the ECO-AERO project and the HEGAN Cluster.

The event was inaugurated by Jaione Ganzarain, the Deputy Minister of Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation of the Basque Government. It attracted a significant audience from the aerospace sector, highlighting the importance of innovation in this field.

This event represents the first session within the ECO-AERO innovation ecosystem, which aims to promote a trans-regional, efficient, open, inclusive, and interconnected network through advanced technologies developed in the Redes Cervera programs.

During the conference, HARTU contributed to three different sessions:

• General overview – presented by our coordinator Iñaki Maurtua
• Perception – presented by Aitor Gutiérrez
• Manipulation – presented by Jon Ander Ruiz

Throughout the event, participants learned about the latest advancements in robotic technologies applied to intelligent manufacturing and new surface modification technologies. Experts from well-known companies shared valuable insights into how these technologies are transforming the aerospace and manufacturing sector.
