Vito Cacucciolo
Vito is the the CEO of the spin-off Omnigrasp Srl, an Associate Professor at Politecnico di Bari (Italy) and a researcher at MIT (US). Vito’s work focuses on advancing soft-matter machines and robotic materials for human-centric robotics.
Vito obtained his Ph.D. in 2017 from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna Pisa (Italy), published over 30 scientific articles and received over 3300 citations.
Davide Grasso
Davide Grasso is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Omnigrasp, specialized in designing robotic grippers.
He focuses on creating precise mechanical designs for robotic grippers using advanced 3D CAD software. Davide’s interests include material science, mechanical design, 3D modeling, 3D printing and their integration.
Fabio Gargano
Fabio Gargano is a Mechatronics Engineer at Omnigrasp. His work focuses on the development of mechatronic systems for grippers, including the design and development of dedicated circuits, and the development of ROS environments to integrate the grippers into more complex systems.
Simone De Carolis
Simone De Carolis is a researcher at the Department of Mechanics at Politecnico di Bari. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2023, and his research activities are related to the study of mechanical systems dynamics.
Simone’s work focuses on system identification using input-output and output-only techniques, aimed at structural health monitoring and damage detection.
